A year ago today, Mellow Mike teamed up with local Salt Lake City group The Street Sweepers and Seattle based artist Grieves to produce the single “Men at Work”.
“This was definitely a fun placement to get! I had known Ocelot of The Street Sweepers for a while and he had asked me to send over some beats I was working on and the next thing I knew the group and I had a song! They got it all recorded and just sent it over, and I was so stoked to hear the final version. I had no idea Grieves was going to be featured on the track and I had opened up for him some years before in Billings with C. Boy and Symon, and I've been a fan for years, so it was really cool that this song was able to come together the way it did. They went on tour with him and everything.”
